The Northern Michigan Policy Conference is a regional economic development conference led by the Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance. The Alliance is a coalition of 16 chambers and economic development organizations and over 7,000 member businesses from across northern Michigan. The partnership exists to advocate for rural northern Michigan and move forward rural-centric business policy.

The Economic Strategy Sessions (ESS) are an initiative by Traverse Connect to engage high-level investors, community leaders, and business owners with the key pillars of our region’s economic development strategy, and to provide clear and transparent leadership and guidelines for the growth of our region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Leadership Grand Traverse (LGT) is a community-based program that prepares participants for decision-making leadership roles in areas such as policy, program implementation, and development. 2024 Cocktails & Connections

 

Held three times annually, our Cocktails & Connections meetups are an opportunity for businesses within the Grand Traverse Region to get plugged into a network, meet new people, and learn about becoming engaged with current and future members in a social environment. Each event draws 50 – 120 attendees from all types of businesses within the Grand Traverse Region. The Presenting Sponsor is responsible for providing alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, separate from their sponsorship. Food is optional, but not required.
