The Traverse Connect Government Relations Committee on Friday, March 4 will welcome the State Treasurer and Budget Director for an in-person discussion about the governor’s proposed budget recommendations.
State Treasurer Rachel Eubanks and State Budget Director Chris Harkins will share details about state revenue estimates, new budget proposals, and updates on shared priorities like the Office of Rural Development.
They will also hear from Traverse Connect investors about budget priorities for the business community in northern Michigan, including increased investment in programs like Going PRO, Michigan Reconnect and Pure Michigan.
