How long have you lived in the Grand Traverse area?
I have lived in Elk Rapids most of life and have recently moved to Traverse City.
What is your favorite thing about living/working in the Traverse City area?
I love enjoying the surrounding lakes.
What do you do for fun?
I love to go on hikes and swim in Grand Traverse bay!
How do you get involved in the community?
I get involved by working with retailers in the area and have just started to get more involved with TCYP.
What is your favorite local business (restaurant, shop, service,etc.) and why?
My favorite local business would be Horizon Books. It’s where I have spent a lot of time studying, getting coffee, and buying books. It’s also where I met my fiancé!
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
I don’t think I’ve had a weird job, but I’ve worked several food service, retail, and administrative jobs since I was 14.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
I’m a licensed realtor!
What is something you learned in the last week.
I had to give my cat antibiotics so I learned how to properly administer them (it’s not easy).
How can other TCYP members support you (personally or professionally)?
I think communication is the best way to support me if I have any questions or concerns.
