How long have you lived in the Grand Traverse area?
I actually live in Leelanau County and have been there since I was 8 years old.
What is your favorite thing about living/working in the Traverse City area?
The absolute beauty of where we live, the number of outdoor activities are endless.
What do you do for fun?
In the summer you will usually find me on a boat in one of our many lakes and in the winter hanging out at wineries.
How do you get involved in the community?
Aside from TCYP, I often volunteer with various fundraisers our local Lions Club puts on.
What is your favorite local business (restaurant, shop, service,etc.) and why?
Folgarelli’s- my coworker and I are doing a challenge to try every sandwich they offer.
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
I was a school bus driver for 5 years, I started when I was 21 years old.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
I grew up working with my parents at our family meat market.
What is something you learned in the last week?
I actually just learned about the Recess Happy Hours put on by The Ticker and cannot wait to attend one!
How can other TCYP members support you (personally or professionally)?
My goal is to start/manage my own business and have met some great people through TCYP that could help me achieve this in the future.
