Traverse Connect is excited to announce the newest additions to our professional development series kicking off this month: the Women in Business Webinar Series and the Women in Business Book Club. Each offers unique opportunities to develop personal and professional skills that will benefit participants’ own performance as well as that of their team and organization.
First, we are continuing the Women in Business Webinar series with the next session, “Personal Development is Leadership Development,” coming September 21 from 12 to 1 p.m. This three-part program is geared exclusively towards women in business who are ready to dive deeper into productive habits, leadership skills, and personal growth that will help them advance in their careers. Over six weeks, this group of women will discuss the challenges they face in the workplace and how to move through these obstacles with confidence. Once completed, participants will have a complete toolkit ready to reference when insecurities strike as well as cohorts to lean on for support.
Additionally, we are launching the Women in Business Book Club series. Each Spring and Fall, we will choose a book full of inspiration and actionable tips, and we will gather over the course of three sessions for discussion, group exercises, and live speaker presentations. Our facilitators will help participants not just read a book but really walk away with clear steps to implement the key takeaways that they’ve learned. The first book in the lineup is Think Like a Monk: Train Your Mind for Peace and Purpose Everyday by Jay Shetty, and the first session will be on September 28 from 12 to 1:15 p.m. Together, we will dive into the author’s journey to become a monk and discover how thinking like a monk can help us reduce stress, improve relationships, and live more meaningful lives.
Register for these programs today, and join the discussion.
