Leadership Roundtables Return: Connecting Business Leaders of the Grand Traverse Region

The Leadership Roundtables are back! With the first event kicking off April 26 from 12-1:30 p.m., the Roundtables bring together groups of 8 to 12 key decision-makers from Traverse Connect investor businesses across the Grand Traverse Region. These decision-makers will meet 10 times over the course of a year for collaborative, growth-oriented roundtable sessions in which decision-makers can safely explore business and personal issues with the guidance of experienced facilitators and peers. Through the collaborative sessions, participants receive peer-to-peer learning through discussion, interaction, and the sharing of experiences that allow participants to learn from each other’s achievements and mistakes. They also build support through highly qualified facilitators, expert guest speakers, and connection to various small business resources.

The first Roundtable will feature strategies to foster connections in a hybrid workplace. Many of us are learning, living, and leading from home. This can create a sense of disconnection and isolation. Demonstrating empathy for the changes we are all going through and understanding ways to restore energy and human interaction are critical – especially when navigating a hybrid workplace.

The first Leadership Roundtable of the series will kick off with globally recognized speaker Mark Ostach to provide ways to reignite human connection leaving you filled with newfound courage to connect. Frequently featured in USA Today, Mark has done two TED talks, written 2 books, and spoken to thousands of people encouraging them to embrace a spirit of courage through vulnerability. Mark has degrees in psychology, technology, and an interest in behavioral neuroscience. His mission is to remind the world that human connection is the most powerful connection we have.

The Leadership Roundtables are only open to Traverse Connect investors with options to join the sessions at either the Manager Level or the C-Suite Level. Applications to join the Leadership Roundtables are considered on a rolling basis throughout the year.
