Rachel Dunphey, Event Marketing Assistant
Rachel Dunphey is the Event Marketing Assistant at Traverse Connect, where she supports the organization’s event planning, marketing initiatives, and community engagement. A Traverse City native with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Theology from Hillsdale College, Rachel brings a creative and people-centered approach to everything she does.
Her career began at Artisan Restaurant within the Delamar Hotel, where she honed her hospitality instincts before transitioning into event sales. She completed dual internships in Event Sales with both the Delamar Hotel and Traverse Connect before joining the Traverse Connect team full-time upon graduation.
Outside of work, Rachel is an accomplished performer: she most recently sang before a crowd of over 30,000 on the National Mall during a celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary. She is also an active volunteer, having served on her Senior Class Legacy Board, the Hillsdale Humane Society, and the Pi Beta Phi Board of Directors.
