Accounting Associate for Great Wolf Lodge – Traverse City
How long have you lived in the Grand Traverse area?
Traverse City has always been my permanent residence, but I have worked/lived in Mackinac Island, Mount Pleasant, Orlando, and Aspen.
What is your favorite thing about living/working in the Traverse City area?
I love that we have such a diverse array of things to do year round.
What do you do for fun?
Dance, Play Video Games
How do you get involved in the community?
I attend many networking events such as TCYP Happy Hours, Recess, and others.
What is your favorite local business (restaurant, shop, service, etc.) and why?
J.S. Hamburg South. They have been feeding multiple communities in the area and have held great fundraising events.
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
I used to be a Supervisor for the Kid’s Castle they had at Art Van Furniture in town. I dressed up as Jumbles the Jester for two Cherry Festival Parades.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
I did not do so well in Accounting courses at NMC or CMU. Hospitality Accounting (as I call it) seems to be my calling in life, however.
What is something you learned in the last week?
Do not be afraid of taking time off you have available. The work will still be there for you.

Definitely come check out Great Wolf Lodge. You can get day passes to our waterpark or come use our Arcade, shop in our stores, or dine at most of our restaurants without being a current guest.
