2024 DSA Recipient
Mary Vollink, the Traverse City Salvation Army’s Office Manager and Volunteer Coordinator, was selected by the Traverse Connect Board of Directors to receive the Distinguished Service Award. The DSA is among the region’s oldest and most prestigious civic awards, presented annually since 1929.

Nominees must be residents of the Traverse Connect five-county service area but are not required to be Traverse Connect investors.

Major considerations for DSA selection are contributions (beyond purely monetary donations) to the cultural, economic, and social betterment of the area, along with character and ethics.
