Traverse Connect conducted its fourth quarter Business Growth Barometer Survey of investor and member businesses, aimed at providing a snapshot of our regional business sentiment, outlook, and current challenges. Quarterly surveys inform the organization’s strategic priorities and help it respond to the needs of the business community.
Respondents maintained their response rates from the previous quarter as 83% are in agreement that the Grand Traverse Region is improving as a place to grow their business, with respondents citing a decreased concern about access to capital as a barrier to their business’ growth.
Traverse Connect’s accomplishments for the fourth quarter of 2023 are summarized in relation to its six focus areas that are aligned to the strategic priorities of enhancing the competitiveness of the Grand Traverse regional economy, driving growth of second-stage businesses, and developing and attracting a talented workforce.
