Traverse Connect conducted its third quarter Business Growth Barometer Survey of investor and member businesses, aimed at providing a snapshot of our regional business sentiment, outlook, and current challenges. Quarterly surveys inform the organization’s strategic priorities and help it respond to the needs of the business community.
Respondents overwhelmingly agree that the Grand Traverse Region is a good place to grow their business with 85% in agreement that the region improving as a place to grow their business, an increase from the second quarter, which is attributable to a decrease in staffing and housing challenges seen in Q2.
Traverse Connect’s accomplishments for the third quarter of 2023 are summarized in relation to our six focus areas that are aligned to our strategic priorities of enhancing the competitiveness of the Grand Traverse regional economy, driving growth of second-stage businesses, and developing and attracting a talented workforce.
