New officers and directors for Traverse Connect’s Board of Directors were approved at the final Board meeting of 2024 on November 14, 2024. Five new directors and a new slate of board officers will begin their new terms on January 1, 2025.
Brandie Ekren, executive director of Traverse City Light & Power, will join the Traverse Connect Board of Directors for her first three-year term.
Tim Healy, president of Century, LLC, will join the Traverse Connect Board of Directors for his first three-year term.
Nick Jacqmain, president and CEO of Springfield Commercial Roofing, will join the Traverse Connect Board of Directors for his first three-year term.
Norm Plumsted, president and CEO of Honor Bank, will join the Traverse Connect Board of Directors for his first three-year term.
Jen Seman, senior director, mid-large and emerging markets for Priority Health, will join the Traverse Connect Board of Directors for her first three-year term.
New officers for the Traverse Connect Board were also seated for 2025. Leading the Traverse Connect Board of Directors for the year are:
- Chair – Rachel Johnson, Cherryland Electric Cooperative
- Vice Chair and Treasurer – Bill Myers, Promethient
- Secretary – Dan Buron, Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan
Other leadership appointments by Traverse Connect for 2025 include Doug DeYoung of Consumers Energy as the Government Relations Chair and Kacie SanMiguel of Plante Moran as the Finance Chair.
