Cherry Capital Foods has been working in partnership with growers, producers, retailers, restaurants, schools, and institutions across the state of Michigan – along with a select group of neighbors from the Great Lakes region, to connect thoughtful eaters with a freshly designed food system. Our work to develop and support a resilient regional food system plays an important role in strengthening our local economies, by keeping money in our state, and in our communities. As the premier purveyor of Michigan food products, we provide access to hundreds of food items that are grown and made in the “Mitten”, along with trustworthy product transparency, so that our customers can quickly access the growing practices, sourcing standards, farm names and locations for everything we sell.
We started our business here in Traverse City more than a decade ago by building partnerships with small to mid-sized farmers and food producers in this area. Though the scope of our business has expanded across the state, our heart – and our business, is firmly rooted in TC. We appreciate the vibrant and collaborative business and farming community here, and the ever-expanding talent pool of human resources. Hiring the brightest and best has not been a problem for us — if they don’t already live here, they are happy to relocate to paradise!
