Brenda McLellan

Brenda McLellan serves as the Vice President of Investor Engagement at Traverse Connect, where she leverages her passion for relationship-building and community engagement. Brenda’s educational background includes attending Northwestern Michigan College and completing the Innovation Mindset Credentials in 2023. She furthered her education in 2024 with SLII Experience at Davenport University.

Joining Traverse Connect in November 2019, Brenda plays a pivotal role in strategically leading daily activities to maximize efficiency and collaboration. Her responsibilities include engaging with the business and entrepreneurial community, generating new investor members, identifying programs to meet investor needs, and effectively running volunteer committees.

Brenda’s diverse work experience includes roles such as National Sales Manager at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, Account Executive at Integrated Systems Consultants, and Business Banking Relationship Manager at Chase. Her career motivation centers on building relationships and connecting people, a passion she fulfills through her work at Traverse Connect.

Outside of work, Brenda enjoys an active lifestyle, participating in local races and running one half marathon each year. She also finds joy in mountain biking, reading, and spending time with her family. Brenda is actively involved in volunteering, serving on the Board of Directors for The Helm Foundation, participating on Northwestern Michigan College’s Engineering Technology Advisory Board, and serving as a Big Sister to Lilly through Big Brothers Big Sisters.
