Michael Broodo, Investor Engagement Coordinator
Michael Broodo serves as the Investor Engagement Coordinator at Traverse Connect, where he leverages his passion for value-driven-relationship-development and stakeholder engagement. Michael graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN with a BSPA in Public Financial Management and a minor in Non-Profit Management. Michael’s diverse work experience includes roles such as Account Executive at Gartner, various government relations roles in Washington, D.C., and founding a student focused mental health and suicide awareness non-profit at Indiana University.
Joining Traverse Connect in May 2024, Michael plays a pivotal role in strategic execution activities that drive member engagement, member growth, and community collaboration. His responsibilities include engaging with the business and entrepreneurial community, generating new investor members, and leveraging Traverse Connect’s incredible events and programs to meet stimulate economic growth in the Grand Traverse Region.
His career motivation centers on maximizing the partnership between private business, non-profits, and government to improve the community’s quality of life, a passion he fulfills through his work at Traverse Connect.Outside of work, Michael enjoys fly-fishing, running, basketball, reading, spending time with his family and hanging out with his rescued Great Pyrenees mix, Milo.
