The Northern Michigan Policy Conference is a regional economic development conference led by the Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance. The Alliance is a coalition of 16 chambers and economic development organizations and over 7,000 member businesses from across northern Michigan. 2025/2026 Leadership Grand Traverse

Leadership Grand Traverse (LGT) is a community-based program that prepares participants for decision-making leadership roles in areas such as policy, program implementation, and development. The program provides unique access and exposure to many of the major assets and leaders across our region, including natural resources, parks and recreation, community and economic development, health and human services, transportation, and agriculture. Held three times annually, our Cocktails & Connections meetups are an opportunity for businesses within the Grand Traverse Region to get plugged into a network, meet new people, and learn about becoming engaged with current and future members in a social environment. Each event draws 50 – 120 attendees from all types of businesses within the Grand Traverse Region.
