2020 Election: Voting Information and Candidate Profiles

Election Day is November 3, 2020

Our Voice is the Business Voice

It’s critically important for our business community that we elect leaders who care about issues important to us – especially as we address our COVID-19 recovery. Here at Traverse Connect, as a part of our investor & voter education, we are providing information through online candidate profiles for State Representative, Grand Traverse County Commission, TCAPs Board of Education, & NMC Board of Trustees. Traverse Connect also served as the convener for two meet the candidates events, where investors and the community had an opportunity to connect with State Representative and Grand Traverse County Commission candidates. We have also reviewed local and statewide ballot proposals that affect our businesses and signaled our support of several initiatives through formal endorsements. Local businesses are the cornerstone of our region – and we hope you will use your voice to vote.

Voting Information

Since Proposal 3 passed in 2018, there is no deadline to register to vote in the State of Michigan. Michigan now allows Same Day registration. Voters are encouraged to get registered ahead of time and may do so online, by mail or in person.
